O7. Standard recognition of the learning outcomes

Leader: Satakunnan koulutuskuntayhtymä

October 2015 – October 2017 [24 months]

Aim: Besides potential success in actions done all along with NAGs for the integration of learning outcomes in the training pathways that can be followed to develop the skills and abilities needed to perform this job, since the training system will be developed taking into account methodology, levels (4 and 5) and descriptors set up by the European Qualification Framework (EQF), it is crucial and even natural to explore accreditation paths in order to allow participants to get, for instance, ECVET credits after passing through the training APP.

Thus, the use of the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) would guarantee a mutual recognition of skills in participant countries, not only at a national level but also international.

  • A1. Creation of a National Advisory Group

Each partner shall look for support from 5-10 key members (x.e. VET institutions and authorities, social agents, professional associations, employment agencies, migrant experts) in order to:

- Do external evaluation and validation of results.

- Facilitate the insertion of learning outcomes in VET curricula.

- Assure impact and long-term sustainability.

- Propose recommendations.

  • A2. Accreditation routes throughout EQF: Recognition procedure

Explore accreditation paths in order to allow participants to get, for instance, ECVET credits after passing through the training APP.

- Describing the new skills in terms of qualifications (KSC) as defined in EQF methodology.

- Writing down a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) to be signed by project partners’ legal representative, in order to allow a mutual recognition of the new qualification scheme.

- Setting up Learning Agreements that will contain the specific training schemes as well as the accreditation process that would allow participants to be accredited in the new qualification. These learning agreements should be signed by stakeholders from each partner country.

- Proposing the EUROPASS tool to register the skills held by each participant.

Output media: creation of NAGs, MoU, Learning Agreements.
