O1. List of common basic skills in H&S

Leader: Westdeutscher Handwerkskammertag HANDWERK-NRW

October 2015 – December 2015 [3 months]

Aim: Agreement about common “basic skills” in H&S and safety attitude for any worker, especially for low skilled migrant. This list has to include:

  • A1. Health and Safety skills identification in the VET system

Individual reports: VET in construction sector and how H&S is integrated in the training itineraries.

  • A2. Health and Safety skills identification in the construction labour market

Each country: conduct semistructured interviews to workers supervisors, health and safety trainers or an expert in the construction sector.

Individual reports about expected attitudes and the degree of presence of this in the workforce, focusing especially on low-skilled migrants.

  • A3. Draft of common basic skills in Health and Safety

Common report with a first list of common basic skills.

Ask NAG’s opinion about the suitability

Output media: report: common skills and those to address in the project and why.

 

O2. Pedagogical methodology for the serious games

Leader: FRG Timisoara

January 2016 – March 2016 [3 months]

Aim: To reach an agreement about the processes involved in skills acquisition. This list has to include:

  • A1. Implementation of a questionnaire

Each country: 60 online questionnaires

The target group will be the low skilled workers (preferably migrants). The objective is “likes and use of app and digital games”.

  • A2. Workshop with experts and NAG

Individual workshops (NAG+migration+constsruction+VET+H&S trainers) most suitable practices and methodologies in serious games.

Individual draft with the conclusions of the workshops A3. Draft of common basic skills in Health and Safety.

  • A3. Pedagogical methodology design

The partners will complement the result of A2 and will write a report about the features that add value for the methodology of the training system (criteria: boost lifelong learning, level of control of the learning, time preparation, target and learning outcomes characteristic)

Output media: report with the methodologies that have been studied and the core aspects they would give to the Project: purposes, contents, serialization, learning method and resources.

 

O3. Learning Outcomes description

Leader: FLC –Fundación Laboral de la Construcción

 April 2016 – July 2016 [4 months]

Aim: Describe the common basic skills defined in IO1 in terms of Learning Outcomes. This output will contain the specific contents that will feed the design of the training system: specifications, objectives, learning outcomes and multimedia resources.

  • A1. Training system specifications and objectives

Definition of the on-line training systems specifications, objectives and framework.

To structure the system into sequential training modules (easy-difficult) to be implemented in the app.

  • A2. Training system learning outcomes

Review of documentation related to learning outcomes to know how the methodology to develop the contents properly.

Description of H&S skills in terms of learning outcomes: Knowledge & understanding; intellectual, practical, key/transferable skills and assessment criteria.

  • A3. Multimedia Resources

List of learning outcomes with the associated media resources that project team consider as the best suitable to facilitate trainees’ learning (serious games, video, images, pictures, Augmented Reality, animations).

Output media: report that includes the description of H&S skills in terms of learning outcomes and the multimedia resources more suitable of their acquisition.
