Centre IFAPME Liège-Huy-Waremme asbl / IFAPME

Centre IFAPME Liège-Huy-Waremme asbl was created on August 1960 as a non-profit organization. It is the largest professional training centre within the French-speaking Belgian community, with some 15,000 students - more than half of whom are continuing education courses - and more than 1,000 graduates per year.

IFAPME Liège-Huy-Waremme asbl offers a wide range of initial education and training (IVET), entrepreneurship training (for people over 18 years of age) and continuous vocational education and training (CVET) in almost all sectors, as well as certification for more than 100 different professions. It count on a network of more than 1,000 trainers and 70 collaborators (directors, employees, office staff, construction personnel, etc.).

The Centre IFAPME Lieja-Huy-Waremme asbl has established agreements with the Public Service for Employment and Vocational Training of the Valona region -FOREM, as well as with other training centres such as Autoform, Construform and Epicuris.

The main activity of IFAPME Liège-Huy-Waremme is the education and training of young people for their integration into the labour market, as well as the meeting of employers’ needs. It offers orientation and information services for employment and for the development of professional careers, validation of competences, geographical mobility programs and other specific actions of professional training.

Ente Nazionale per la Formazione e L´Addestramento Professionale Nell´Edilizia di Puglia / FORMEDIL Puglia

The Ente Nazionale per la Formazione e L´Addestramento Professionale Nell´Edilizia di Puglia (Formedil-Puglia) is a non-profit regional organization belonging to Formedil, which was created in the collective labour agreement for construction sector.

Formedil Puglia coordinates the activities of the five construction training centres of the region of Puglia (south of Italy): Bríndisi, Lecce, Taranto and Bari. Its main objective is to promote the development of activities aimed at companies and construction workers, paying special attention to training, research and the innovation process.

Consequently, its main activities are the following:

• Be responsible for the coordination of the activities of the regional construction schools.
• Deal with the relationship with the region of Puglia and with other institutions with the aim of facilitating the efforts directed to the construction industry.
• Promote, in cooperation with the national Formedil, the international cooperation relationship.
• Participate in the activation of employment policy programs undertaken at the regional level.
• Collaborate in research and studies on the labour market in the construction sector in Puglia.
