September 2nd, 2019. Fundación Laboral de la Construcción received last Friday representatives of the Chilean Chamber of Construction interested in learning about the training system, in force in Spain, for workers in the construction industry. In addition to other pillars on which the entity is based, such as: digitalization, promoted by Entorno BIM; and innovation, through international projects, including Upp Games.
Along with our initiative, José Antonio Viejo, Director of Training and Employment at the Foundation, presented other European projects that reflect the European commitment and responsibility that the institution has in improving professional skills in the sector, such as: Construction Blueprint, , which defines the new strategic competence framework for the European construction industry; H&S Blueprint or the definition of a strategic competence framework in Health and Safety for new jobs in the sector; Construye 2020+ that represents a new boost for green jobs, growth and sustainability; Women Can Build that works to achieve a more egalitarian sector; and VRoad, which through virtual reality, seeks to improve the Health and Safety competences of road works professionals.
To end the visit, the group enjoyed a demonstration of virtual reality in construction, provided by GA Consultores, a company that works closely with the Foundation to promote digital training in the sector.
