French Pilot Experience: October 1st, 2020

October 5th, 2020. The French BTP CFA centre tested the virtual reality of VRoad with students and roadworks experts from the Saint Pierre des Corps vocational training centre.

The aim of this experience was to test the application, developed by partnership, in order to understand the needs to improve it. In this sense, each partner will carry out a pilot practice in their countries, in order to check the behaviour of sectoral professionals or students with the application.

In the case of France, eleven trainees and three trainers from the roadworks sector had the opportunity to play VRoad virtual reality. After, they have explained their opinion about the effectiveness and the use; some of their recommendations were focused in the implementation of the Handy Guide, to simplify the installation of the application.

The conclusions obtained will be incorporated into a report testing, which will establish improvements.
