The Lean.Co Project: Development of a training program in Lean methodology in order to support the transition of the Construction sector towards a more competitive and productive model. It belongs to the Erasmus + program of the European Union, summons 2016, from the second key action of cooperation for the innovation and the exchange of good practice.

Duration:  24 months, from October 2016 to September 2018.

Budget: 154.630,00 €.

Partners: Asociación de Constructores Promotores de Navarra (Spain), Technological & Innovative Platform for Environmental Efficiency -Tipee- (France), Cluster Habitat Sustentável (Portugal) and Politechnika Warszawska (Poland).

The Lean.Co Project aims to develop and to implement a new program of professional formation specialized in the training of Lean construction methodology which is directed to professionals of the construction sector, in order to provide them with the necessary knowledge and the specific skills to apply and to implement the approach of that methodology within the companies.

By this way, it has entailed a sustainable improvement of the competitiveness of workers, enterprises and their work systems, as well as promoting the transition towards a new constructive model which is more competitive and productive. This one is the line that stimulates the European project Lean.Co across which Lean construction courses have been developed for professionals of the construction sector, in order to answer to the needs of qualification requested by the labor market.

The actions carried out have been the development of a training program in Lean construction, the development of teaching methods, tools and instruction materials; the ratification, transfer, replication and pilotage of the created program.

The Lean.Co platform has been developed in Blackboard learn, a well-known management system of e-learning. It is available in English and in the other partners native languages:  Spanish, French, Portuguese and Polish.
